Cookie Policy

This page lists everything Docx to PDF keeps in your browser, what each item is for and how long it stays. The list is short, because the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.

Cookies and local storage explained

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back on the next visit. Local storage is similar, but is never sent anywhere: it stays on your device and can only be read by the site that wrote it.

What this site uses

Theme preference
Local storage · kept until you clear it · remembers light or dark
Strictly necessary cookies
None — the site has no login or session
Analytics cookies

Advertising cookies

Documents you convert
Held in memory only, never written to storage

Nothing about the file you convert is written to a cookie or to local storage. The document lives in the tab's memory while it is being converted and is discarded when you clear the queue or close the tab.

Third-party categories

If analytics or advertising is enabled in future, the provider will be named in the table above and in the Privacy Policy before it is switched on. Typical categories such a provider would set are:

  • Analytics — measures how many people visited a page and which pages they moved between. Aggregate, not tied to a document.
  • Advertising — used by an ad network to limit repetition and measure whether an ad was seen. Set by the network, not by us.
  • Preference — remembers an interface choice, such as a theme or a language.

How to clear or block them

Every browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Clearing site data for this domain removes the theme preference; the site then falls back to your operating system's light or dark setting, and nothing else changes.

Blocking storage entirely does not break the converters, because they do not depend on it.
